Studio Policies

It is our goal to provide a positive experience for all artists who come to our studio.  In order to do that, Evolution has the following policies.

COVID-19 MANDATES

  • Evolution Studios complies with all federal, state and local mandates.  Please click here to read more about our COVID-19 policies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Evolution Studios has a 24-hour cancellation/modification policy.  If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your booking is scheduled to begin, you will be charged for the full booking.  This policy also applies to "same day" bookings.  If you are booking a room for the same day or less than 24 hours in advance, that booking will be considered a HARD booking and will not be able to be changed or canceled without payment.

  • Events, filming, or multiple bookings require more than 48-hour notice.

  • Building buyouts require one-week advance notice for canceling.

  • Any booking canceled/modified outside its required cancellation time frame will be charged the full booking amount.  

  • You can cancel via, logging into your Mindbody account, emailing us, or calling the office.  If no one answers the phone, please leave a voice message with your cancellation.  As long as it is within the cancellation window, you will not be charged for the booking.

 

STUDIO RENTALS

  • AUDITIONS, ONGOING CLASSES, FILMING & PRIVATE EVENTS must be approved by Evolution Studios before booking and may not be booked online due to rate and cancellation policy differences. A deposit and Event Rental Agreement must be received at the time of booking.

  • Please end your bookings on time so that our other clients can start their bookings on time. We recommend wrapping up approximately 5 minutes before your booking ends in order to get cleared out on time.

  • If you finish your booking early you are still responsible for paying the full amount of time that you booked.

  • All bookings require a working credit card/debit card to be on file.  The card will be charged 23 hours before the actual booking time (to align with our 24-hour cancellation policy). If a client wishes to pay through Venmo or Paypal, they should do so at the time of booking (so their credit card will not be charged). 

  • It is the Client’s responsibility to provide current and accurate credit card information and keep an updated card on file. Evolution reserves the right to close down any accounts that become delinquent.

  • Credit Cards/Debit Cards on file must be in the account holder’s name or direct affiliation.

  • Evolution Studios uses MindBody for our online booking system.  The security of Personal Information is a high priority at MINDBODY. We maintain our Service and all associated data with technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against the loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification, and improper disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have any questions about the security of your interaction with us (if, for example, you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), you can contact MindBody at privacy@mindbodyonline.com.

  • Evolution Studios DOES NOT bump or cancel bookings unless our entire facility has been rented out. In such cases, we will work closely with each client to help relocate and/or compensate for any loss. We will also alert clients to such situations as far ahead of time as possible. 

  • Evolution Studios accepts Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, VENMO, Paypal,(wire transfers, and business checks upon approval).

 

TAP/FLAMENCO/IRISH DANCE

  • In order to maintain our dance floors, Tap/Flamenco/Irish Dance are allowed in Studio B1 & D2 only.  If you prefer to use one of the other studios, an additional hour cleaning fee will be charged to your booking in order to conduct a deep cleaning of the studio floor.

 

GENERAL POLICIES

  • Please respect the privacy of all patrons at Evolution Studios. Do not enter a studio until the previous booking has finished. If a booking is running late, notify an Evolution staff member to assist you in entering the studio.

  • Please do not ask for photos or autographs of any celebrity guests.

  • Absolutely NO alcohol, marijuana, or illegal substances are allowed on the premises at any time, this includes the parking lot.  Any violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction of client/guest and our right to refuse future bookings at Evolution Studios.

  • No gum, glitter, silly string, or confetti allowed in the building.

  • No food or drinks (other than water) are allowed inside the dance studios, without prior approval from Evolution Studios. We do provide a lounge area for food.

  • Evolution Studios will not be held liable for any lost/stolen/damaged personal items that patrons might leave unattended inside or outside the building.

  • There is no overnight parking or stack parking allowed.

  • Please respect all parking signs in order to prevent being towed at the owner’s expense.

  • Evolution Studios furniture, equipment, props, and overall belongings are to remain on the premises at all times.

  • A limited number of folding tables and chairs are available for free on a first come first serve basis. We kindly ask that clients return items to their designated location at the end of their booking.

  • If a client/guest causes any damage to Evolution Studios property or our neighbors’ properties, the client/guest is liable for all charges to repair/replace-damaged property.

  • Evolution Studios has the right to shut down a booking if we deem it to be in violation of any studio policy. 

  • Evolution Studios has the right to refuse service to anyone.
